Finally being linked with a full back; Cazorla 'to be announced early next week'

After a busy and positive week in the transfer market the mood has suddenly shifted in our favour. Nowadays fans don't really mind if Van Persie leaves. We have gone from shock in the beginning to hate later on but now most of us seem to have accepted the situation. The summer hasn't gone too badly and I don't think he has disrupted the preparations. We are close to signing that world class player we have been calling for and if Robin stays I see that as a bonus. I am talking about Robin because of a story in the Sunday Mirror which states that he is set for a U-Turn. He now wants to stay as he is impressed by the ambition shown by the club. And if that' the truth then I have no qualms about it. He wanted ambition and he got it. Now its his move - if he stays he was telling the truth in the statement of his and if he leaves he was lying.

In the same article we are linked with Ajax full back Greg Van Der Wiel. I have been calling for a right back for the whole summer and he would be ideal. Not only because he is a long term replacement for Sagna who is now 30 and has suffered 2 broken legs in a year but because he is able to play left back as well. Signing him, Cazorla and Sahin would complete an amazing summer and Robin staying would complete it.

There were widespread reports yesterday that the Cazorla deal will be announced 'early next week'. I just want to see it on the official website. I want to be able to watch YouTube videos and past matches with the knowledge that he is ours. I want to be sure that he will come to Germany and play against Cologne. Its unbelievable that Malaga can't sign off on a deal and press the send button. This shows the chaos going down on their side. And I will not feel sorry for Malaga. They chose to go down the road of a sugar daddy. That's the risk you take. I do however feel sorry for their fans. Though I have more sympathy for the fans of Portsmouth and Rangers. Portsmouth have only 3 players registered and are on the brink of non-existence.

Nothing else this morning.

'Till Tomorrow
